Anton Savov is an architect based in Frankfurt, Germany. He works as a research associate at the Digital Design Unit, in the Faculty of Architecture at the Technical University Darmstadt and is the founder and principal of AWARE – an architectural design studio exploring the crafting of computational, social and ecological interfaces in the built environment.
Anton completed his post-graduate studies at the Städelschule Architecture Class, in Frankfurt, Germany. Before that he received a Master of Architecture from UACEG, Sofia, Bulgaria. Anton was an integral part of the performativeBuildingGroup at Bollinger+Grohmann Engineers and taught from 2008 until 2013 computational design in the Städelschule Architecture Class, Frankfurt. Anton has taught workshops worldwide. In 2012 Anton was a scholar at the prestigious Artists and Architects in Residence Program of the MAK Center for Art and Architecture in Los Angeles. Together with Oliver Tessmann and Stig Anton Nielson he contributes to this year's Node festival with an interactive architectural installation called "Sensitive Assembly".
