Juliane Götz is the latest member of Quadrature, an atelier for arts, robotics and light based in Berlin. In the collaborative work with Jan Bernstein and Sebastian Neitsch, her emphasis is on the theoretical and contextual questions and their translation in the projects. As Juliane combines the hardware based pragmatism and digital utopias in Quadratures work, she applies various techniques and methods from both realms. One of her favorite areas is the intersection and interaction of code and object.
Quadrature’s work has been exhibited at numerous institutions such as TADAEX, Tehran, Kunststiftung Sachsen-Anhalt, Projection Mapping at International Digital Arts Biennial (BIAN), Montreal, or Ars Electronica.
