Sebastian Oschatz (oschatz)
Sebastian sparked the development of vvvv in 1998 and designed and programmed many of the quirkier nodes in vvvv. Together with Max Wolf, Sebastian is cofounder and associate of MESO Digital Interiors GmbH, and he is responsible for the conceptual, creative and technical planning of many projects for clients such as BMW, Hyundai or ABB or for cultural institutions like the Goethe Nationalmuseum in Weimar or the museumangewandtekunst Frankfurt.
Until 1994 was part of the music project Oval, which pioneered experimental glitch aesthetic with an accessible pop sensibility. He occasionally teaches history of technology and interaction design at various universities. Together with David Brüll he is in the board of directors of the NODE e.V. which organizes the festival.
